Welcome to Thuna Matrimony. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Thuna Matrimony mobile application and website thunamatrimony.in (the "Service"), operated by Thuna Matrimony ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be of legal marriageable age in India and legally competent to marry. The Service is intended for individuals genuinely seeking a life partner for matrimony. You agree to provide true, accurate, and current information.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
- One person may maintain only one profile. Profiles created on behalf of another person must be with that person's consent.
- We may review, approve, suspend, or remove profiles that violate these Terms or appear fraudulent, offensive, or unsafe.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, obscene, defamatory, or unlawful content.
- Harass, abuse, solicit money from, or deceive other members.
- Use the Service for any commercial, promotional, or non-matrimonial purpose.
- Copy, scrape, or misuse other members' photos or personal information.
- Attempt to breach security, or upload malware or automated scripts.
4. Subscriptions & payments
- Browsing and viewing profiles is free. Premium subscriptions unlock contact details of matched profiles.
- Premium plans are ₹19 for 1 month and ₹50 for 3 months (inclusive of applicable taxes), charged as a one-time payment for the chosen period.
- Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider; by paying you also agree to their terms.
- Subscriptions do not auto-renew unless explicitly stated at purchase. See our Refund Policy.
5. No guarantee of results
Thuna is a platform that helps members discover and connect with each other. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, receive responses, or that any information provided by other members is accurate. Members are solely responsible for verifying details and exercising caution before making any commitment.
6. Safety disclaimer
Interactions with other members are at your own risk. Never share financial information, and meet prospective partners and their families safely. We are not responsible for the conduct of any member, online or offline.
7. Intellectual property
The Thuna name, logo, app, and website content are our property and protected by law. You retain rights to the content you upload but grant us a licence to display it within the Service for matchmaking purposes.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, with or without notice.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thuna shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding three months.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kerala, India.
